The felts are generally made of natural or synthetic textile fibres that undergo a mechanical (needle treatment) or thermal (heat melting) working process, transforming them into the final product (see "Production machines").
The product is later transformed in formats that are able to be marketed, such as rolls, packs of slabs, etc., that are appropriately packaged in order to be destined in the best possible way to the various sectors of use (see "Transformation machines"). The sector of use is prevalently the industrial one, but the dynamism of those who utilize them extends their application also to other sectors.
